Stewardship

The Stewardship program at Nativity is a year-round way for parishioners to support the church’s mission and ministry by serving and giving financial support to various programs. We are challenged to choose appropriate opportunities as thoughtful, thankful and responsible stewards.

History Group:  The History Group researches and records the history of the Cathedral, and maintains the History Room in the Deanery.

St. Matthew Society:  The St. Matthew Society honors those who choose to support the life and work of our parish through bequests and planned gifts.  The purpose of the St. Matthew   Society is to encourage, support, and celebrate gifts to God that ensure our parish remains a vibrant and vital Christian community for years to come.

Third Millennium Fund: The Third Millennium Fund is a permanent endowment fund established by the Vestry in 2001.  The fund consists of special gifts and bequests.   Earnings from the endowment are distributed annually to help the parish fulfill its mission in education and training, outreach ministries, and other special projects of the parish and the Episcopal Church.

United Thank Offering:  The United Thank Offering is a personal and family devotional program of the Episcopal Church.  It is a way for each person to express thanks to God with prayers and offerings that are placed in their “blue box”.  These offerings are joined together and granted to advance the mission and ministry of the church.
