Worship With Us

♦  ACOLYTES – Raymond Arcario, Coordinator

Young people in fifth grade and up are invited to become acolytes.  Acolytes assist with the liturgy on Sundays and at special Cathedral services.  Training is required and any youth interested in this ministry should speak with the Acolyte Coordinator.

♦  ALTAR GUILD – Dolores Cauller, Coordinator

Prepare the altar and set our table for every weekly, daily, and special event our Cathedral hosts. “The active and willing hand of every Christian is needed to keep the church alive.”

♦  CHALICERS

Parishioners who serve the Lord through offering the cup during communion.

♦  DIOCESAN LITURGY

♦  GREETERS

Those who greet and welcome people as they enter the church.

♦  LAY EUCHARISTIC MINISTERS – Laura Drum, Coordinator

Lay Ministers take Sunday Communion to parishioners unable to attend services.

♦  LECTORS/INTERCESSORS – Gail Goshert, Coordinator

Any young parishioner who would like to read lessons during the worship on a Sunday morning is welcome to join the lectors. They must first attend a training session, offered early in the fall.  Excellent oral reading skills and regular church attendance are expected.  Contact Gail Goshert, the Cathedral Church Secretary at 610-865-0727.
