Jubilee Ministry Center
Since 2001 the Cathedral Church of the Nativity has been designated a Jubilee
Ministry Center by the Episcopal Church for our ministry among the poor and the
oppressed. The Cathedral is committed to an active and broad ministry in Bethlehem.
Parishioners volunteer in a number of neighborhood ministries. Dozens of local
community groups and ministries use Cathedral facilities throughout the year.
The Cathedral's Canon Missioner leads our advocacy for the poor by providing
direct care and by serving as a community leader. Click

the outreach ministries supported by the Cathedral.
Internationally, the Cathedral has actively supported ministries in Ireland,
the Diocese of Kajo Keji, Sudan, Swaziland, and Israel/Palestine, and elsewhere.
Members of the Cathedral provide diocesan leadership on the World Mission Committee.
The Cathedral is also dedicated to a life and spirit of financial generosity.
Since 1999 the Cathedral has given away over $300,000 to local, national, and
global ministries.
